AI workspace comparisons, with full disclosure
We compare AI-native productivity platforms on the things vendors rarely put on one page: which AI providers they use, where they host, and what AI really costs. One more thing you should know: we build one of the products we compare.
Who we are
AI Workspace Compare is published by the team behind YourPAZ, an AI productivity platform built in the Netherlands and hosted in the EU. We built this site because provider transparency, EU jurisdiction and honest all-in pricing are exactly the axes we design YourPAZ around — and because almost nobody collects those facts about AI workspaces in one place. That also means this site has a conflict of interest: YourPAZ ranks first here, and we are the ones ranking it. We deal with that by disclosing it on every page and by pointing you to the public sources behind every factual claim, so you can check our work.
The problem we're addressing
Every major productivity tool shipped AI features between 2023 and 2026. Most marketing pages describe these features in identical language: "powered by the latest AI models", "intelligent automations", "AI that understands your work". Almost none disclose, on a single page, which provider handles inference, where the inference happens, whether the provider trains on your content, or what the AI features cost on top of the base subscription.
AI Workspace Compare collects what the vendors do publicly document — pricing pages, documentation, sub-processor lists, trust pages — into one comparison, with sources you can check.
What we cover
- AI-native productivity platforms (full workspaces with AI integrated).
- Bolt-on AI addons to incumbent PM tools (Notion AI, ClickUp Brain, monday AI).
- Stand-alone AI productivity tools (Motion, Mem, Tana).
- Local-AI productivity options (Ollama-backed tools, on-prem inference).
What we don't cover
- Pure LLM APIs without a productivity workspace wrapper — those are model comparisons, different domain.
- Coding assistants — also different domain, evaluated elsewhere.
- Image / video generation — out of scope.
Editorial principles
- Disclosure first. We build YourPAZ. Every ranking and score on this site is editorial, and you should read it knowing that.
- Verifiable facts. Pricing, hosting and provider facts come from the vendors' public pages, and we tell you where to look.
- Conservative about competitors. Where a vendor doesn't document something, we write "not documented" rather than guessing — and we don't publish measurements we haven't made.
- Scores are opinions. "Our score" is our editorial judgment on stated criteria, not a lab result. The criteria and weights are on the how we compare page.
